It's been long

Right, the last time I posted anything here was, erm, very long ago. Anyway, AFA pasted not long ago, was there at Saturday and had uber lots of fun running around getting together with all my friends. I did not have any cosplay photos this time round, why? I was too busy running around rather than trying to take photos this year. Maybe I'll just leave behind this link instead if anyone wants to see some cosplaying action. Well, instead of cosplays this year, I've gotten a bit of luck at the bushiroad store. Gotten the Milky Holmes CDs which comes with their PR cards which I wanted to find but was sold out online. I've gotten some cards which I have been searching for quite sometime with only two boosters. I've managed to draw a gold bag, and what's more, a signatured card of my PR milky holmes card which I got at TGS this year! a great reward this year i think personally. Got to meet the seiyuu's of Milky Holmes, very happy! The only regret I have was, I had work, can't help my friend in the setting up and taking down of the booth, never get the chance to attend CGM night at monday again, due to work. Well I'm not particularly complaining, maybe I just wants to rent a bit, that's all, since there's a lot going through now.

On another note, my ex-lecturer had a very "impressive" game which is called Man by the beach, I have to say he is a very good lecturer, fun and dedicated to his student, though people might defer. But I honestly believe his is one and will alway be one, too bad he is leaving for greener pasture out there. It does not really affect us too much as I am practically "graduated" as I am on a Industrial Project, the only time I will be going back to school is when I graduates. However, I just want to say this to him that I am grateful for the times that he had been there for us, laugher, tears and joy we had would not have been completed without him. I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for us, thank you for the times, and ultimately wish that he will still carry that wonderful smile along together.

Right, after something happy and some sad, I've just realize that this might just be the longest post I ever did! Congrats to me. On a side note, I did mention that I was attempting on doing a game by myself did I, progress have been made but at a very slow rate, well it's a one man show game and I am only doing it when I actually have spare time provided I am feeling up to it. But it was good progress, some engine changes which optimizes the engine and stuff like that. Now moving on to the battle engine, this is the only part which I am still trying to finalize in concept, I just seem unable to settle on the battle system for the game, well apart from it been static sprites and it's 2D with some cards as the mechanism, the rest are still in bits and pieces. Anyway, I just wish myself luck and that's all for now.

Late update

Oh ya, so it's been real long since I written something here, and I'm almost finish with my internship, hurray? I guess. Anyway, today's Tokyo Games Show day 3 (public day 1) did not get the chance to go due to my internship, too bad. I really wanted to go see the idolm@sters on stage, nonetheless there's also milky holmes on stage... Today's also the release of Kudwafter Angel beats boosters for Weiss Schwarz, had my friend gotten one for me and it came with extra, great! Now what's left, I want to have them soon but well, since my friends were the one who bought them for me, can't have them rush it back too right, so enjoy the rest of the days to the fullest and bobo, try not to go crazy upon sight of Mio, okay? Internship

While as I posted yesterday, I am currently going through INTERNSHIP! Currently, I am having my internship at a local games development studios called Personae Studios

Well, it's a pretty young studio up to date, and is specialized in iphone, ipad games development. Well, I have signed a NDA so I don't think I can say anything more beyond this point so, I will stop here, and move on to something related too, Singapore Gaming Industry.

We've just got a meeting today talking about our project and the local industry and so here I am. Well, when we talk about the Singapore Gaming Industry, our impression of it is a pretty small industry, but as what the government says, has potential of growth. Well it might true but the growth is surely a slow one, why, it's too hard to breach the borders between foreign countries. We may have some talents but, we lack too much experience, as such to carter local games to the world outside, hmm a bit difficult. Next, Singapore demands too much returns for their work! Requesting pay so high but yet delivery is inefficient. Thirdly, the business model for the local companies are inefficient(this was actually brought up by our boss), local companies tend to target only the locals which means small market and low income rates(why so, figure out yourself). That's pretty much the problems of the local industry here and so, what implies of it, I can't really state it out, NDA... ha nice one, I must be pretty careful when I talk about this stuff. Well, a rare update here. I've being on my Internship now so not really in the mood to do much, but well not I say something first. Currently, I am trying to do a doujin game by myself, don't know how long I'll last but let's just see. Maybe if I have the time, I'll try doing another post soon... well, anyway, that's all.

Crunch Time!

Right, after such a long time not having a post up, and now, I am here to tell all of you who are reading this post that I have three assignments due soon and will have no time to think of what to post up here, so i'll be gone again as usual. K-ON! Merchendising WIN

This is awesome. The K-On! production committee have teamed with Korg Japan to expand the Vox line of headphone amplifiers, the Amplugs! Three different Amplugs will be released, each voiced to Yui, Azu-nyan and Mio’s own unique tones in the show! The Amplugs will be emblazoned with art of the characters on them.

Angel Beats!

Angel Beats! just finished airing it's 3rd episode and I'm starting to think that once again, it's a most wonderful anime ever. The first episode was pretty much a confusing introduction to many, but as it proceed on, it is becoming better and better, and with the most recent episode, it is becoming most interesting. A conclusion by Yuri that God does not exist, Iwasawa's disappearance now stir a even more exciting story to look ahead to. I just can't wait for next weeks's Angel Beats! to be aired!

According to this year's 19th volume of Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine, an anime of Wakaki Tamiki's romantic comedy manga series, Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows), has been green-lit for Production.

Spring 2010

It's been so long since I last blogged... I totally forgotten there was such a blog, busy with school and LIFE. Promise about the review is not done as such too, and so it has been changed to the anime spring 2010 release chart, here you go:

In my must watch list:

1. Angel Beats, I'm a fan of Key so how can I miss this? Wish there's a Little Busters! anime too.

2. Mayoi Neko Overun!, well not sure why, but I kind of like this.

3. Shin Koihime Musou, somehow I just love this, I wonder why?

4. D.C ~Da Capo~ Extra, has alway been a fan of the Da Capo series but they just have too many spinoff to keep track of...

5. K-ON!, definitely many await this, so I don't need to say too much.

6. Working!, seen the first preview episode, not too bad so I'll just continue.

7. Kiss X Sis, right this one is tough.

I might also consider Kaichou wa maid-sama too since I had a glimpse of the manga before, I'll say it's not too bad.

New Year in Akihabara

One very nice video of New Year count down in Japan Akihabara. The people were damn high and I can see them really enjoying their selves there. I love the dancing with the orange light sticks part, seldom see people dance so hard in my school. The Suwako cosplay is also very nice in my opinion, what do you think? Oh, and a little warning for all, beware of the Reimu near the end of the video, that is if you actually understand what I am trying to say here.

Open House

Today's the last day of TP's open house, not that I actually care but there something that still bothers me today, what does hair dye got to do with Sakagami Tomoyo from Clannad? (Spotted on one of the Applied Science school booth).

Moving on to the next topic, if I have the time which I hope I have, I am going to review some 2010 winter anime I watch sometime, is going to prepare the pictures first.

Also about Magical Battle Arena, there's a new version named Magical Battle Arena Complete Form which has Fate Sts form great. I see if I can do something about that too.

ひさしぶり、皆さん！

First of all, I know I gone MIA for a pretty long time, maybe too long, but I'm back now. Seriously, i totally forgotten I had a blog back then... work was harsh with that little sleep and so many programming to do, I just forgotten everything...

Oh well, all well ends well, I just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, great at least it does not crash like Vista did, now I can do my work in peace.

UPDATES: I started playing Weiss Schwarz sometime back and wow, I'll say it's one great game.

Reasons why it's great:

1.) The game balance was done pretty well, in fact it was masterfully planned, it is so hard to overpower your opponent which means, it bring to game to a whole new level.

2.) Cards are from Anime and Games, how cool is that? I'm currently using a Idolmaster deck and is wanting to progress to add little busters in.

3.) I can collect it! Hell yeah, it's from my favorite game, and now I can collect them! How cool is that?

Lastly.) I got a signature Yukino card lol!

And above are why it is one great game.

Next, I might be not blogging that much now-a-days too, why? Because I am going to model some 3D humanoid for my test, and I've got some AI coding to do too, right now that seem so bad man, I mean it's gonna eat up my time... But at least I still got some time to catch some animes, lucky Angel Beats coming up at April, if not I'll be rushing for time lol... Angel Beats... MUST WATCH!!!

Oh and one more thing, it just struck me, hell yeah, getting to see Danny in real person is imba!!! wish to see him soon again.
